DRAIS TURBULENT MIXER
FOR DEMANDING APPLICATIONS

The most essential features required by a mixing system are the mixing quality, performance and economic efficiency. Other decisive aspects are saving of raw materials, energy, investment costs as well as easy maintenance of the systems.

These requirements are perfectly fulfilled by the DRAIS Turbulent Mixer^® based on the Turbulent-System developed by DRAIS. The mixing system is easy to clean and requires only very little maintenance. It is of space-saving design, and its lifetime is extremely long.

Depending on the requirement, the product is mixed in the Turbulent Mixer^® very carefully or, if requested, by introducing high shearing stresses, which is necessary for the production of high-viscous dispersions. The versatility of the Turbulent Mixer^® is extended by additional, laterally installed homogenizers equipped with cutting elements of different types. Thus the system is suitable for a large variety of process-technical tasks.

Machine sizes are available ranging from 2.5 dm3 up to 50.000 dm3.

The DRAIS Turbulent-System is also the basis for the dryer Turbulent Dryer^®, the multi-functional All In One Reactor® and the Turbulent Kneader^®.
