each feature two grinding chambers connected in series with internal grinding media recirculation. Thus, hydraulic packing of media is prevented even at highest throughputs (recirculation grinding)

DRAIS DCP TECHNOLOGY sets new standards in wet grinding of high tech products down to nanometer range with NO METAL CONTAMINATION.

DCP TECHNOLOGY offers high energy density milling, internal true media recirculation and the most efficient grinding media / product separation by centrifugal force. High flow recirculation followed by shorter residence times provides for high energy density milling even for mills coated with "Special Polymer Compound or Ceramics" as there is minimum temperature build up in the mill. Therefore, simple cooling on the premix tank for mixing the product prior to milling is mostly sufficient for processing temperature sensitive products. Low processing temperatures can easily be maintained in the DCP MILLS.

 

 

In General;

The DRAIS DCP MegaFlow is a rotor and stator pegged mill, which utilizes high energy density milling combined with high cooling surface for maximum particle size reduction efficiency. The internal media recirculation prevents media flotation thus allowing much higher flow rates than can be achieved in conventional horizontal mills.


The DRAIS DCP MegaVantis combines the impact milling of the MegaFlow and the shear dispersion. The unit is perfect for temperature sensitive products as the inner stator can be made from silicon carbide for better heat transfer.

 


OTHER TECHNOLOGIES FROM DRAISWERKE FOR WET-MILLING APPLICATIONS

DRAIS PERL MILL PMC-TEX

 

In the PMC-TEX series, the grinding beads are separated by means of ceramic screen cartridges of modular design. The separating slot width can be adjusted to the particular grinding media size used, by changing the spacer discs. The smallest possible width is 100 micron.
